On February 29, 2024, a special event took place in the Lviv Theological Seminary of the Holy Spirit - a solemn initiation into active members of the organization "Center of Penitentiary Chaplaincy named after Blessed Bishop and Martyr Vasyl Velychkovsky, C.Ss.R (Patron of the prison pastoral care in Ukraine).
The ceremony began with a prayer to the patron of the organization - Blessed Vasiliy Velychkovsky, and then there was a consecration and presentation of certificates to new members of the organization.
The prayer was led by Fr. Ivan Hlova, spiritual guide, together with the prison chaplain, Fr. Oleg Nestor. After that, there was a solemn presentation of certificates on the occasion of the creation of the organization and for special merits in the penitentiary service.
